On May 25, 2024, the applied psychology training program "Para-helper Manager: Leading with Heart," organized by CareFor EAP, took place successfully. The course attracted 31 leaders and senior HR professionals from various companies, including MiTek, SVTECH, Align Technology, Home Credit Vietnam, FPT Software, PNJ, Faraday, Vietravel, Caravelle Saigon, Merimen, Tokio Marine Group, Tan Dong Phuc, Chubb, Standard Chartered, Phuc Long Heritage, ProwTech, Phu Hung Assurance, and Saigon Eye Hospital.
One of the most important topics of the course was the 4Ds model for IDENTIFYING PSYCHOLOGICAL DISORDERS in an individual, which includes:
DEVIANCE: Behaviors that are deviant, irrational, or not adaptive, causing a person to not fit in with normal societal rhythms.
DISTRESS: Persistent mental distress, severe downturns, constant negative thoughts about life and one's future, poor functioning, and lack of interest in recreation and relationships.
DYSFUNCTION: The individual is unable to function and work as before. In more severe cases, the individual cannot care for themselves or communicate with others.
DANGER: Mental and behavioral instability can lead to significant risks to the individual's health and safety and/or to others.
Additionally, special guest Ms. Anh Nguyễn, former Senior HR Director of Carlsberg Vietnam, shared profound and practical insights into complex psychological situations in the workplace. Her valuable experiences helped participants easily apply the knowledge from the course to evaluate and handle situations effectively.
